MEDITATION

Meditation is the foundation of everything we do at Soul Trust Ignite. As a certified meditation teacher through Chopra Global, I bring my expertise and passion for this practice into every aspect of my work. Whether you're attending a workshop, greeting the sunrise during a retreat, or starting a life coaching session with me, meditation is the tool I use to ground myself in the present moment and access the clarity that comes from within. Through meditation, we tap into the inner wisdom that can only be activated when we turn down the volume of external pressures, validation, and approval, and tune into our hearts.

My approach to meditation is simple yet unique. It’s not a one-size-fits-all practice. Life improves when you take time to cultivate present-moment awareness and create tools to access your inner wisdom. Meditation is the most effective tool to help you do that. It will look different for each person—we all have distinct lives, schedules, and preferences. The key is to find what works for you and make it a consistent practice to spend intentional time with yourself every day. BREATHWORK

Our breath is a clear indicator of how we are experiencing life. When we feel stressed, anxious, or scared, we take quick, shallow chest breaths. When we feel relaxed and calm, we breathe deeply and rhythmically from the belly. Over time, both Big T trauma (life-altering events) and little t traumas (chronic stress, daily challenges) create tension in the body, hindering our ability to breathe naturally and with ease. This tension can manifest as physical ailments, autoimmune issues, or mental challenges such as anxiety and depression.

Most of us go through life unaware of the power we have to consciously manipulate our breath to support a desired state change. In this way, breath is like the remote control for our nervous system—a regulated nervous system is the foundation for living a healthy, balanced life.

At Soul Trust Ignite, we focus on understanding the capacity and functionality of the breath through science, allowing us to enhance our lives. Short breathing techniques can greatly improve our day-to-day living. We also value the emotional release possible through long-form “breathwork journeys”—a series of intentional breathing techniques designed to promote emotional release, healing, and self-awareness, enhancing the mind-body connection.
